God is with us and He walks with us through the hard places!
The thief does not come but to steal, kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly
- The Great Life means you can overcome your adversary, the devil
- The Great Life means we can pass through the adversities of a broken world.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written: ‘For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.’ 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me!
- The Great Life means we can live a complete life.
We have physical needs. Jesus says our Father provides for us.
31Thereforne do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
I am come that they may have life and have it more abundantly.
- The Great Life means we live relationally… with Jesus and each other!
