| Parable of the Talents Capital Campaign |
 What a fantastic Sunday it was in KidZone this past week! As we introduced the idea of the 'Parable of the Talents' we could immediately see the excitement on your child's face as they began to come up with ideas to grow their $20.00.
Are you helping them to implement their ideas? We've already heard several great success stories of children using their talents, and we're anticipating more! Please remember, as your child begins to put their ideas into motion, contact kidzone@genesismetro.org so we can get video footage of their efforts.
On Sunday, October 12, your child will have the opportunity to present their monies to the church as part of their commitment to the capital campaign. We will have the children in the service and show the video. It will be a great time of celebration!

Every month, we have a different virtue that we focus on. We learn how the virtue was modeled in the Bible and, most importantly, how to model the behavior ourselves as we seek to put Christ first in our lives and honor Him in all that we do.
This month's virtue is: Knowledge - discovering something new so you can be better at whatever you do.
Our memory verse is "All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17
